What it is
This is where your ideas get gif'd!
I take requests from users like you, and turn your concept into an animated GIF. Hopefully, within 48 hours. The looping animated gifs are typically 720x720, and usually just 1 to 8 seconds long.
These GIFs are then released to the public under the Creative Commons License, so that anyone can safely use them on anything! So, once your idea has been gif'd, it is released for free to you and everyone else as a gift.
Think of it as the Clip Art of the GIF world
These GIFs fall somewhere between memes and emojis. They communicate a concept quickly, in a simple format that anyone can understand. And since these are animated, they can communicate more complex concepts, kind of like memes. But unlike memes they rarely incorporate any written language, they're a little simpler and more generic, kind of like emojis.
How it works
Fill out the form with as much detail as you can, without being too wordy.
I will ignore requests that are legally questionable.
Once the request has been submitted, it's in the queue for being animated. Depending on how many requests are pending, it will hopefully be done within 24 hours, and will almost certainly be done within a week, so just check back on the website until you see it under recent. It takes about two hours to do each animation.
If the donation amount is $0 you will not be asked for your card information, but I hope you'll consider donating another time. It takes quite a bit of time for me to draw these animations, frame by frame.

When you're looking for the perfect gif on giphy, but you just can't find it.
Then you search and browse on gif'd, and still can't find it... but you have the perfect idea for an animated gif to help you express a certain something...
